I'm halfway between Atlanta and Athens, so I'm rooting for the team with "Georgia" in the school name.


Since I deejay at Tech's radio station, I probably should lean toward Tech, though.

There's always next year, right? I wonder who will be the next head football coach at Tech? CG will be missed! imo, HE DIDN'T DESERVE TO BE FIRED.

No he did not deserve to be fired. Just last year, Tech was in a good bowl game. You can;t be up every year. Look at UGA last year for proof. We were not a good team, but we turned it around this year.

I believe the argument for firing him pointed out that [under his leadership] we were not bad, but we were not great either. He did not energize the team... even Choice had an indifferent response to his leadership. Let's face it, the UGA game is one of our most important games of the year, and he never won it. There was more red than gold in Bobby Dodd, I hate to say. Gailey was not putting asses in the seats, so to speak, and our Athletic Director is a businessman.

Gailey has always been an average coach, both in the pros and in college. He's never done anything to push a team past its limits. Good riddance.
