Package contains four multi-layer foam squares, roughly 4" x 4" x 1.25". Figure I'll pick up a set next time I'm there... see if Auralex has anything to be worried about. (Doubt it.)

So anyone read that rant against MoPads?

Any thoughts?

Sure!

If you put your speakers on a desk, you will have coupling problems. Your desk will vibrate and make your monitoring system less accurate. Perhaps some people grow to like the resonant frequencies of their desks? I can't think of a situation where MoPads wouldn't help (other than with dedicated speaker stands - which are usually built in order to be non-resonant.) It's not marketing hype, it's common fucking sense that MoPads will make your monitoring environment more accurate and less prone to goofy coloration from your fucking DESK.

I'm not saying MoPads are the only way to do this, but I love my MoPads!
