Ghost Brigade

I'm not sure if this has been posted here before (probably), but I just discovered this band Ghost Brigade. They're opening for Amorphis and Orphaned Land in Europe. It's almost like Katatonia, Amorphis and Paradise Lost had a baby while having a threesome.

Real quality stuff. Definitely recommended for the fans of either of those bands!!

I got their first album based solely on the name of the band, it just sounds cool and did not dissapoint.

I bet you'd be surprised to know a good majority of death metal fans don't consider Opeth "death metal".

The whole genre thing is kinda funny actually. Metalstorm lists them as "atmospheric sludge" metal. Whatever that means.

Regardless, I am enjoying these two songs.

I hate the term sludge and I can't say I'm a fan of the style. However, this band has nothing "sludgy" in my opinion.
