Swedish occult rockers GHOST are rumored to have enlisted Sean Yseult, best known as the bass player from the multi-platinum and twice-Grammy-nominated band WHITE ZOMBIE, to play bass on their "Popestar" North American tour. Fan-filmed video footage of the "Popestar" kickoff concert, which took place Friday night, September 16 at Main Street Armory in Rochester, New York can be seen below. Yseult was previously photographed hanging out with members of GHOST backstage at a New Orleans concert in October 2015 (see below). Sean formed WHITE ZOMBIE, along with singer Rob Zombie, in 1985 while both were attending Parsons School Of Design. Around the time the group disbanded in 1998, Yseult moved to New Orleans and continued her music career — playing with bands like THE FAMOUS MONSTERS, ROCK CITY MORGUE and briefly for THE CRAMPS. In 2005, Yseult started her own design company, featuring hand-drawn graphic designs that she scanned and put on scarves and pillows and other things. Yseult also got involved in photography and landed her first solo show at New Orleans's Scott Edwards Gallery in 2012. Sean's 2010 book, "I'm In The Band - Backstage Notes From The Chick In White Zombie", chronicles her career as the girl in one of the biggest crossover metal bands of the '90s. GHOST is touring in support of its new EP, "Popestar", which was released on Friday, September 16. The effort, which consists primarily of covers, was helmed by English producer Tom Dalgety, who has previously worked with ROYAL BLOOD and KILLING JOKE, among others.
