Gibson LP with emg's test

Hi!

This is the first test that I do with the new emg's installed, I had a bit of a hard time to change the pickups so... what do you think of this tone, it's only one guitar recorded without any post fx, eq, only keFIR for impulse.

Sounds pretty good. Suprisingly Rectifier-ish if it's the gear you've used in your sig, though with the obvious Engl mids.

Is it possible for anyone to post a picture of the back of your gibson with EMGs installed to compare with my connections? I think that the ground wires aren't well connected cus the tone from the bridge pickups makes some noise crackles when the volume is off

Sounds awesome! The old pickups sounded warmer and more organic, but harmonics are jumping off the strings with the EMGs... definitely a way more aggressive sound, and you are playing metal, after all! I'm using EMGs (81-SA-SA) with my new 530 also.
