Gillan/Dio on stage together

I went to see Gillan recently,fortunately I caught the show in L.A.,was nicely surprised to witness Ronnie James Dio on stage for 'Smoke on the Water'.Gillan and Dio on the same stage,how cool was that! If anyone would like to see photos,leave me instructions on how to post them,I'm not quite a computer wiz.

Wow - what a gig !!! What was the set list ? Did they do some of the old Gillan classics ?

Would love to see the photos, but I am a Luddite when it comes to computers ! Sammi once told me how to do it.

I saw Gillan and Dio on stage together at the Royal Albert Hall in 1999 for the 30th Anniversary of Jon Lord’s Concerto. Two great nights and they sang Smoke of the Water together !!

Do you know if the Gillan’s Inn Tour is coming to the UK ? Can’t see anything on the website.

well, this is the most easy way to post pix in a forum:

go on this site (for example - there are many more free pic-hosters in the www)

http://www.imageshack.us/

(allowed: jpg jpeg png gif bmp tif tiff swf < 1.5 megabytes and use the resize option if you think they will be too big)

then choose your picture via the explorer and klick on "host it"

after the picture was uploaded - you get some links to that picture. choose "direct link to image" for example. choose the thumbnailed option if the pictures are too big to be displayed here in their original size so you have to click on the displayed thumbnails afterwards to let the big ones appear in a new window.

then mark the whole line - rightclick on mouse and choose copy

come back to your unfinished post where you want to insert the picture

in the post-window there is this small icon:

click on it and rightclick with your mouse to paste the copied url from imageshack and then your picture is linked

use the "preview post" option to see if all pictures are in the right place

and that&#180;s it



happy upload !

There probably will be a UK tour.They are talking about Australia first,then Europe.They will be working around Purple dates.Set list: No laughing in Heaven,Into the Fire,Hang Me out to dry,Men of war,Sugar Plum,Not responsible,Wasted Sunsets,Unchain your brain,Bluesy Blue Sea,When a blind man cries,No Worries,Smoke on the water,Elvis song Trouble,Knockin at your back door,and 2 songs from his guitarist Michael Lee Jackson's solo album.Sorry the order is not correct.I will work on posting some photos soon.I was able to catch 5 shows.

how it goes ?

feeling fine after a 13-hours-2-jobs-day

in the morning off to work with my ass in a very cozy car-chair - then 8 hours with my ass on a cozy office-chair and then 5 hours with my ass on a very cozy lorry-chair and then home with my ass in a very cozy car-chair....

but i get used to....

gigs ?

no not really

there was nothing of interest near here for a long time

saxon is playing in november in belgium - the hotel on wheels is rent already...

but our time will come again next year
