just watched the video they have available on their site, the song was pretty cool...the video, well, you know :dopey:

but anyway that was my first taste of negura, somebody plz post a track...i'm tired of living in RC sin :tickled:

just got this email from Negru ...

We're still struggling here with the new album, which takes shape a lot slower than we expected it. For now I think we'll re-record again all the guitars we did a couple of months ago... as well as re-arrange some of the tracks. Still, I'd day we're rather advanced, and it shouldn't take long to have it done.
With the DVD it's about the same... We have a new clip pretty munch ready, another clip like thing also ready, a cool slideshow, and 3 live video tracks also pretty much arranged (they look more like underground clips than live footages). We'll decide these days if we'll do one or two more live clips beside the 3... but that shouldn't take much to have it done.

i'm still not really sure what to think about these guys...i have a pretty long want list, even with all my recent acquisitions, but if i see something cheep cheep i'll probably spring for it

some pretty awesome new photos from the last 3 months ...

some nice shots there!

ok, i dig these guys, they have a cool sound, but i gotta hold off on buying more cd's man, i'm gonna go broke....but jesus tap-dancing christ, ain't it an enviable dilemma :tickled:

AUSGEBOMBT!!!

its amazing how Negru has a pretty minimalistic drum kit ... he IS the Romanian Hoglan ...

cannot wait for the new disc ...

they draw some pretty big crowds for sure ... and they play a lot of festivals back home too.

metal is big in Romania.

29.01.2006: Our friend Sol Faur Spurcatu is back with us. Here's his comment about all happening lately: "I return to... myself... After a time of wandering and searching I regained my call, which first was a wish and then ended being a way of life... ." We wish to thank also to our friend Andrei Popa which helped us playing the guitar along us for some months. We won’t forget his help!

I think Negura uses a larger kit sometimes (such as in the studio), maybe for some tours he uses a more condensed set. He is an amazing drummer, very unique in his dynamics and playing style methinks.

there seems to be a few diferent kits there
(cool photos)
I'd presume that given the size of thier van they'd be using mostly locals backline
I know when they were supoosed to play here it was either ours or Geasa's kit and cabs to be used.
makes sense but it can be really shit to turn up to a crappy kit with heads that have been fucked beyond tuning, sometimes drummers have thier kits set up horribly too, it makes it really hard to play well
its much nicer to use your own gear

I'm still pissed off they didn't make it over here :(
