For art lovers traveling to Atlanta early, you may be interested in checking out the highly anticipated exhibit, "Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch Paintings from the Mauritshuis".
Vermeer's iconic painting is often called the "Mona Lisa of the North" - the exhibit, on display until Sept. 29, includes 35 other Dutch masterpieces including a few Rembrandts.
The museum's closed on Monday and hours are 10am - 5pm. It's only half a mile from the venue - on Peachtree, just past The Residence Inn. Tickets are $19.50
