So I was wondering how to create those electro-glitch drums, like joey does in some of his productions. I tried it so many times and it always sounded like crap, especially those "pews" and the snare tone beats me.
I've heard that dblue glitch is great for this, but I really don't understand how to use it. Do you usually throw it on the whole drum bus and just randomize it?

Here's an example of what I mean:

Dblue glitch isn't for turning your drums into that. Dblue is for creating various predefined edits in sounds themselves. Use kontakt or battery or some other MIDI-based sampler program, get an electronic drumkit library and bam, all you have to do is hand-program from there.

Go into grid mode, set it to 16ths or triplets, copy the snare/kick/etc and paste them in on the grid to taste. The chopped up transients and such create the glitchy sound.
