RYM film chart

Deadline is MAY. If you need an extension just say so and it will absolutely be considered. This is usually just a soft deadline to make sure everybody doesn't become complacent.

REMEMBER for those of you who haven't seen many films from this year or in general, you can always submit lists as small as only having 5 submissions.

Rules:

- Please submit at least 5 films.
- First place in your rankings gets 10 points, 2nd gets 9, etcetc, 10th gets 1.
- Feel free to post more than 10, but only the top 10 will get points.
- Feel free to post less than 10, the same scoring will apply.
- Feel free not to rank your picks, in which case all ten picks will get 5.5 points.
- If you're so much of a dick that you have to post more than 10 unranked picks, the maths will be worked out.

Hopefully @Oblivious Maximus gets involved for this one, I bet he knows some crazy shit.
Probably a fairly obvious list all things considered. Pretty amazing year.

none crazier than possession which i imagine will be his #1.
Almost.

1. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Miss Osbourne (Walerian Borowczyk)
2. Possession (Andrzej Zulawski)
3. Ms. 45 (Abel Ferrara)
4. The Beyond (Lucio Fulci)
5. Fruits of Passion (Shuji Terayama)
6. Macumba Sexual (Jess Franco)
7. Scanners (David Cronenberg)
8. Polyester (John Waters)
9. Nightdreams (Francis Delia and really Stephen Sayadian too)
10. The House by the Cemetery (Fulci)

The Escapees
Cannibal Ferox
Le pont du nord
Nightmare (in a Damaged Brain)
Absurd
Mystics in Bali
Wolfen
The Killing of America
The Decline of Western Civilization

Special nod to Porky's as well and the ridiculous amount of other horrors too numerous to list.

A while ago I finished doing what I could to fix up the English subtitles for Miś if anyone's keen to watch that one. Haven't run them past anyone Polish yet but they make a lot more sense than what's available online now. For an absurd film, anyway. Bloopy levels of absurd. I love it.

I half watched this with a Polish mate years ago but never got to finish it.

Ms. 45 is one hell of a disturbing film and beautifully shot.

Not exactly passionate about #2-5, but Heavy Metal's one of my all-time favorites. Surprised no one else has listed it yet. Need to see Escape from New York and Das Boot.
