THIS WEEK ON THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW: On the show this week, we'll do something old, something new, and something that's both. First up, there's a brand new band called McCoy/Guy/Torme tearing up the UK on the strength of their new CD, BITTER & TWISTED. The CD is a rocker, and features three long time veterans - Jon McCoy (Samson), Robin Guy (Faith No More/Bruce Dickinson) and the great Berne Torme (Ozzy Osbourne/Widowmaker). This bar rocker album has arrived and is ready to be heard here on these shores. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for BITTER & TWISTED, and John McCoy will trot out some great road stories about his career and the new band.
Also on the show, we're going to give Tesla another shot with these covers. As you recall if you listen to the show, Tesla has put out 2 releases called REEL TO REAL. We featured the first one a few weeks ago, and now it's time to feature the other half of it. We'll bring you a New Music Listening Party for REEL TO REAL 2, and we're scheduled to speak with new Tesla guitarist Dave Rude as well. That should be good fun.
