Listening to it just now, and it sounds AWESOME! Lots of very cool songs here. And Jens has done a good job mixing the album.

Awwww jeeeeaaaah boyeeee! I love GF and can't wait for this album to come out in all it's full .wav glory so I can throw it on the HS80Ms and enjoy a fine Eric Rachel / Jens Bogren tag team effort!

Its been a long time coming. These guys have been kicking fuckin ass for awhile now and have gotten the short end of the stick time and time again. Great live band... great fuckin dudes. Hope this album and their upcoming tour with Children of Bodom and Lamb of God blows these guys the fuck up.

On first listen i would say it's decent musically. They took some chances in new directions on some songs, unfortunately nothing stood out as very memorable to me. I'll give it more spins when it's out though. The mix sounds great too. on constitution of treason the drums sounded a bit robotic, now they sound much more natural.

Seeing them play at Thunderbird Stadium in Vancouver, BC in April. I could care less about seeing LOG (seen em 3 times), I super stoked for COB and GF...and of course, municipal waste!

Listening to the riff at about 3:00 on Empire of the Gun. Boy that tone sounds like a POD. :Puke:

Edit: Nothing against God Forbid, I am a HUGE fan of their older work. Just that tone stood out to me as a bit wtf.

I absolutely love GF. Constitution of Treason is my all time favorite album, and I love Gone Forever as well, but I think Earth's Blood is a bit generic and bland in places, I can hear that they are trying new things musically which I respect, it works most of the time, but to me I love some bits then I find other bits generic, for me it doesn't have the same magic and consistency of the previous two albums. I'm not a huge fan of the rhythm guitar tone on this record, but the drums sound really big.

So I have slightly mixed feelings, but I'll probably end up loving it more when I've listen to it more times. Tell you what though, I do like listening to 'The New Clear'

Been a fan of thiers for a long damn time....the new album totally KILLS! Like previously mentioned, I hope this album gives them the push they really deserve and have been working thier asses off for. The album reminds me of parts of "Reject The Sickness" but much more refined. At first, I thought the guitars sounded really tinny, but after a few listens it doesn't bother me. So much tastyness on this album!
