In a brand new interview with Tampa, Florida's 98 Rock radio station, Sully Erna was asked if fans can expect to see a GODSMACK biopic or documentary anytime soon. He responded (see video below): "A lot of people are asking us about the GODSMACK doc — if it's gonna come out, when it will come out — and my answer is it can't come out yet, because we don't know how it ends. We're still kind of living through it. Although I have been working on a feature documentary about my life story that's kind of based on my book that has a lot of GODMACK elements in it as it gets toward the tail end of it, because it goes from the time I was born and it's all the struggles I went through up until I got a record deal and it kind of ends there. So there's gonna be somewhat of a tease of that story coming in, or at least the birth of it, but as far as the GODSMACK story, it's still a little bit premature, I think." Erna's memoir, "The Paths We Choose", came out in 2007. At the time, he described it as "a snapshot of the first 30 years of my life." Last month, GODSMACK embarked on a headlining tour across North America with special guests VOLBEAT. The Massachusetts rockers wrapped up a co-headlining trek with SHINEDOWN in the summer of 2018 and a European tour with LIKE A STORM earlier this year. GODSMACK is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "When Legends Rise", which was released in April 2018. The disc follows up 2014's "1000hp" and is the band's first release through BMG after splitting with its longtime home, Republic/Universal.
