Norwegian black metallers GORGOROTH will headline the Sirkkelirock Metal Weekend on Friday, January 7 at the Tavastia club in Helsinki, Finland. Also scheduled to appear on the bill are SOULGRIND, CARPATHIAN FOREST, BEHEXEN and HORNA.
GORGOROTH entered Grieghallen studio on Wednesday (Jan. 5) to begin recording their new album, entitled "Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam". The CD will contain eight tracks and is tentatively expected late spring/early summer through an as-yet-undisclosed label.
GORGOROTH were most recently signed to Nuclear Blast Records, who released the band's last three efforts: "Twilight of the Idols" (2003), "Incipit Satan" (2000) and "Destroyer" (1998).
As previously reported, GORGOROTH have inked a deal with the French label Season of Mist for the reissues of their first three albums: "Pentagram" (1994), "Antichrist" (1996) and "Under the Sign of Hell" (1997). All three will be re-released in January/February in a remastered, digipack version.

Sounds like a cool festival. I may consider picking up those three reissues very soon as I have heard about Gorgoroth for awhile now and want to give them a shot. Opinions on this band would be cool.
