Hi Saxonfan ! Are you coming over to the UK for any of the Saxon Tour ?
The Deep Purple gig was amazing,

especially seeing them at such a small venue. It was absolutely packed, but I was lucky enough to meet Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, and Ian Paice after the gig who all signed my Deep Purple / Dio / Gillan / Rainbow Tour Jacket :hotjump: (Steve Morse was about to, but was dragged off to the Tour Bus !!) .
Like the Bananas tour, there was much emphasis on material from the new album (Rapture of the Deep), but there were some old classics thrown in. Highlights for me were Living Wreck, Ted the Mechanic, Perfect Strangers, Highway Star, Pictures of Home.
Full set list was: Pictures of Home, Things I Never Said, Ted the Mechanic, Back to Back, Living Wreck, Rapture of the Deep, Wrong Man, Before Time Began, Lost Contact, Well Dressed Guitar, Lazy, Keyboard Solo / Perfect Strangers, Junkyard Blues, Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming, Space Truckin, Highway Star, Smoke on The Water, Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye, Black Night.
Here are some decent reviews of the Astoria gig, and several others of the current Tour which you may find interesting.

See you at a gig soon, Saxonfan !!! Look forward to hearing about some Saxon gigs in Germany later in the year when we can meet up with Saxonator, Northern Lady and Suzie.
Cheers,
Goss.
