I can die a happy guy. Dev is the most gracious, humble guy in the world. I was at the VIP acoustic show before the concert and was able to go backstage after the show. As you can tell by the look on my face, this was for me like what meeting Jesus would be like for a Christian.

Super jealous - I hit a shit ton of traffic and ended up missing the acoustic show/meet-and-greet. Was an insane show, nonetheless!

Any geer-slutting go on between you guys? Any details?

I was too much of a giddy schoolgirl to really be able to form sentences. I did get to check out his guitars though and see the rig. The Peavey V's are fucking beasts of guitars.

I got to hang out with him once, right before Ocean Machine came out. It was so cool cause I just saw him coming out of a Wawa with a sandwich ... I guess that was the club's dinner buy out :p Anyway, I just started talking with him and he told me to find him after the gig so I did. We ended up just hanging out and talking for like a good 45 minutes about anything and everything. One of the most sincere, good natured, down to earth and gracious people I've ever met in my life. What you see on the stage these days is truly him, no pretense, no posing, not an act... and its awesome

So what was he like?

Very mellow, very gracious, and extremely down to earth. Two former bandmates of mine booked the show and worked the event, and one of them was taping down carpeting in the hallway and Dev was just walking around and said, "hey man, you need some help?". So there was my friend Geoff.....taping down carpeting with his idol as they talked about their children. You could've chopped his balls off and he still would've been in a good mood after that.

From what little I talked to Dev, he's maybe the most humble person I've ever met.

Oh god, I screamed like a little schoolgirl when I saw him at Tuska this year (only the Ziltoid gig tho) <3
