March 22nd - One of the favorites on THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW who's name is not wildly famous is Jorn Lande. His voice is often compared to Whitesnake vocalist David Coverdale's, and his metal style reaches across the various musical styles out there today. Some people may remember him as the lead vocalist for the first Masterplan album. Others may remember his more progressive, but equally brilliant work with Symphony X vocalist Russell Allen on their two Allen-Lande releases. Jorn Land is now out doing things solo, and has a great release called THE GATHERING. This release features reworkings of his earlier solo work, and proves him as a classic metal great. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for THE GATHERING, and Jorn will call in from parts unknown to discuss the new record and all things that are going on with his career.

Additionally, the CMS is proud to welcome a legend that has never before been on with Neeley and Chris to the show. Legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet, who's best known for his work with Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group and Alcatrazz, has graciously agreed to come on the show and share stories of his past. Additionally, Graham has put together a brand new version of Alcatrazz, which is currently working on a new CD and a US tour. Bonnet has a lot of stories to tell, and THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW is willing and ready to hear them.

Finally on the show, Neeley and Chris will feature a very special edition of their "Rocks Hard and Hardly Rocks" segment. This week, instead of simply playing a song and letting the fans vote, the guys have decided to actually let the band of the week try to sway you to vote that they rock hard. The band coming on will be California's Nasty Habits. A surprisingly European sounding power metal band, Nasty Habits breaks all the stereotypes of "California Metal". It will be there chance to convince you that they Rock Hard, so check them out and see what you think.
