Inspired by DA thread about the gig of the man in Finland I check some videos on YouTube and I find this gem. And correct me if I'm wrong but it is Cozy Powell on the drums!

I got that complete Japanese concert with Vai , it's just great. At the end Vai even hands out a guitar to a fan !!

I actually like that Marbles song, written by the brothers Gibb. The Gibb brothers are really fantastic song writers and there early stuff is very good, imo. That is before the whole disco thing.

Funny you mention it. Some days ago a co-worker was playing something in the office and caught my ears (since is not his stuff), was some kind of 60's Brit pop and I found later it was a Bee Gees greatest hits compilation.

Not that the music was astoundingly good or superior to what Beatles, Stones, Monkees, Animals, etc were making in the 60's but definitively nothing compared to the awful disco years.

I hate disco so much (considering it was my early teens is amazing I was never caught by it) I can't think positively of any band involved with that movement.

Now where the heck did that video of early Alcatrazz come from? That was much more than bootleg quality and I don't recall ever seeing a concert video released from that tour. I'd sure like to paste my greedy eyes onto the whole concert if I could get it on DVD or something digital.

That was awesome! I never knew about that side of Bonnet's career. Never knew he had long hair. Man, that guy's voice was like velvet back then. I watched it 3 times. And brushed up on my GB history lessons, thanks to Wiki.
