OK, let me be highly skeptical. First read between the lines (Kiske is a pain in the ass), second this smells like "Chameleon" :puke: , third I suppose Masterplan and Gamma Ray have enough work ahead of them why going to look for "Mr. I Don't ike Metal"?

In a recent interview with Spain's Laestadea.com, MASTERPLAN guitarist Roland Grapow has confirmed plans for a collaborative project with his ex-HELLOWEEN bandmates Michael Kiske (vocals) and Kai Hansen (guitar, vocals). An excerpt from the chat follows:

Q: About Hansen and Kiske, there's a rumor of a project. Is that right?

Grapow: "It's not a rumor, it's true. We’re just waiting for the right moment. We gathered together two or three times in the last two years. What happens is that Michael doesn't want to do anything with too much hard rock or too much heavy metal, too much dark or negative, he wants to do something more lively. So, probably, when I finish the tour with MASTERPLAN, I'll begin to write some tracks for Mike. Kai too. We'll see what will come out. But, once and for all, we will do something."

Q: Does this project have a name?

Grapow: "No, not yet! Perhaps it will be called HELLOWEEN! (Laughs). No, it’s a joke. At the moment we haven't thought of any names because we haven't planned it out yet. Now we only want to write a few songs which we feel comfortable with, that Michael doesn't find negative, but we all love. Because we don't want to make a Kiske solo album with two famous guitarists from the past. We search for music which speaks for itself without any need to be aggressive or negative."

Ah this shit drives me crazy... My number 2 band is Helloween, right after Iron Maiden... So I love them... especially the Keepers era stuff. I grew up with it and it holds a specially place.

I sure the fuck hope that these three don't fuck that up for me!!! I love Kiske's singing back then but he needs to get his head outta his ass and forget about "positive" stuff... I mean come on, Keepers were even the slightest bit negative??? What is it that I am missing??? He must just be a dick and instead of admitting to himself and the world that he is a dick he wants to keep it "positive". I call bullshit!

Honest people will admit to others that they are assholes or whatever if they are! Blame shifting is quite the monster at times.:heh:

I think that this will last about as long as the newly published Van Halen reunion!

Hey Mike: if you don't want to sing heavy metal, making an album with Kai Hansen and Roland Grapow isn't probably such a good idea! Just some friendly advice...

This isn't going to be metal, probably soft melodic rock/hard rock like the very first Kiske solo record (not a bad one actually, it was written by Adrian Smith and Kai Hansen). Ok, everything that followed with the Kiske name on the cover was crap :D

Kiske is still good friend with Grapow and Hansen, and while he should stop his constant and pathetic whining against metal (STFU Michi!) I'm curious to hear the result.

Also the covers themselves, did you see the last Kiske's cover? :D

To be honest, I think his pop/rock is not that bad... well I have to say that I love his voice so much that probably I'm influenced by that.

You mean that one? :D
