Which albums are the best? It's kind of difficult to get into a band with such a track record.
I need it skimmed down to maybe 4 or 5.
I need it skimmed down to maybe 4 or 5.
As soon as I wipe J.'s splooge off my keyboard I'm going to queue me up some Graveland.it really depends on what you're looking for.
raw evil Graveland - Carpathian Wolves, Celtic Winter, Drunemeton, In the Glare of Burning Churches
raw folk Graveland - Thousand Swords, Following the Voice of Blood
rudimentary-Bathory Graveland - Immortal Pride
epic grandiose bombastic Bathory Graveland - Creed of Iron, Memory and Destiny, Dawn of Iron Blades, Raiders of Revenge, The Fire of Awakening, Blood of Heroes, Raise Your Sword!
awesome return to faster, angrier sound while still being epic Graveland - Fire Chariot of Destruction
awesome return to epic grandiose bombastic Bathory Graveland - Will Stronger Than Death
uninspired Graveland - Spears of Heaven
all that being said, i think the best ones for a newb are Creed of Iron (popped my Graveland cherry with this one, and look at me now! I love this band!), Will Stronger Than Death, Immortal Pride, and Thousand Swords. Keep in mind Fire Chariot of Destruction is brilliant!
personal fave - Following the Voice of Blood
I needed this list three days ago. I was in OK city and found a little record shop and happen to stumble upon about 5 or 6 Graveland albums and had no clue which to get.
which ones?
the opening of DoIB is classic.
