all that being said, i think the best ones for a newb are Creed of Iron (popped my Graveland cherry with this one, and look at me now! I love this band!), Will Stronger Than Death, Immortal Pride, and Thousand Swords. Keep in mind Fire Chariot of Destruction is brilliant!

In the Glare of Burning Churches and Thousand Swords were the 2 I listened to ages back. They were ok.

Revisited "Immortal Pride" the other day.... Other than the frog vocals, it's fucking great. Better than I remembered. Same thing with "Stronghold." Oh man.

How is that re-recording of Memory and Destiny released in 2012? Is it worth getting? Where is J when you need him?

Hmm, I love Memory and Destiny. Not sure I'd want to listen to a re-recorded version of it, but I may be too curious not to...

i remember getting M&D and thinking it was the most boring id heard up to that point. nowadays it is one of my faves.

the re-release is totally worth it. it sounds better than before. added instruments from the new graveland chick, Alruna. you can get it cheap from red stream
