Great Websites/Mags for album Reviews?

Hello fellows,

I was wondering which websites you guys usually visit to check out for album reviews before buy or download 'em . I'm talking about serious/decent sites.

My band it's gonna start sending promo material and we don't wanna waste time or money.

And I always check other reviews to see if the guy is not a genre-hater. I've come across reviews made by people that hate melodic death metal, rating it very low because it is "gay", etc, quite retarded.

I like www.sputnikmusic.com, but they are mostly user reviews AFAIK, so it's not the most reliable source for good reviews. They're generally fairly objective and informative, though.

Yes, we have sent CDs to all of them. Results are shitty / dissapointing by far - 7 reviews from Poland and 1 from Holland, that's all We have sent CDs at the end of October 2009. Hope to see more reviews soon
