Anyway, my choice of metal genres is very basic. I enjoy melodic death and a fair share of doom metal. YIf you're guessing Death/Doom to be precise, spot on.
I am one who constantly listen to almost every sub-genre of metal. Of course there are a few genres that wouldn't suit my likings... However, in addition to that, i feel that one should not restrict themsleves to listening to just 1 sub-genre and ignore the rest.
To understand metal, you have to be willing to be open to other genres.
