Label 56 is an Independent music label and distro based in Maryland in the U.S. In our catalog we offer cd..s by artists of all genres, many of which are Independent releases that you may not be familiar with. It is our goal to bring to the forefront music that is ignored by the corporate owned record labels, radio stations, magazines, and television. Our slogan- "Independent Music For Independent Minds" is based on that goal. We want you to enjoy music for what it is and not because some radio station says you should. As a label, we try to branch out and incorporate all styles of music in order to help further expose you to various styles. Our releases to date range from Southern rock, to punk/ rock, to ambient/ martial, and in the near future hardcore and even techno. So check out some of the songs and have a look around our website. Hopefully you will find something you enjoy. If you are a distro and would like to trade with us please contact us.
