Michigan rockers GRETA VAN FLEET have asked fans who are attending their three sold-out concerts in Detroit to bring with them canned goods to drop off at the venue. The food collected from the December 27, December 29 and December 30 shows at the Fox Theatre will be donated to Gleaners Community Food Bank. Founded in 1977, Gleaners Community Food Bank is a non-profit organization that provides millions of pounds of donated and purchased food to feed people in need throughout southeastern Michigan. GRETA VAN FLEET released its debut full-length album, "Anthem Of The Peaceful Army", on October 19, landing at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart with 87,000 copies sold. The disc followed two previous EPs and the breakout song "Highway Tune", which first put the quartet on the map in 2017. Earlier this month, GRETA VAN FLEET landed four Grammy nominations. Brothers Sam, Jake and Josh Kiszka, along with drummer Danny Wagner, will attend the February 10 ceremony at Los Angeles's Staples Center, where the group will vie for "Best New Artist", "Best Rock Performance" ("Highway Tune"), "Best Rock Album" ("From The Fires") and "Best Rock Song" ("Black Smoke Rising"). GRETA VAN FLEET will play a two-night stand in Seattle in early January. A new North American tour will start next May 7 in Miami.
