These dudes are incredible. With producer extraordinaire Waldemar Sorychta on guitar and Dave Fucking Lombardo on skins, how can you go wrong?

Maybe I'm just stoked to finally have a copy of their debut again after it being lost 7 years ago, but this sumbitch still sounds new, and it came out in '95.

For those unfamiliar with the band, I'm not sure how to describe them other than as powerful metal (not power metal, powerFUL). Their sound just wants to rip heads off, but not in any super-violent let's-be-really-heavy type of way, if that makes any sense.

I'm doing this right now, beer included: :kickass:

That's what I've been waiting for! :D You're going to love this CD so much, I guarantee it. I am completely floored at how new this sounds, I figured this would be a trip down memory lane and not much more, but no... so much more....

Let me know whenever man, a copy of Grip Inc. is sitting in a puffy envelope right now...

I only know them because Waldemar Sorychta used to produce Tiamat, and I used to be an enormous Tiamat fanboy. Until they started sucking. Anyway, never actually heard GI.

I really liked Grip Inc. in high school. I still have all their stuff. It actually sounds a little bit dated to me. Simply because so many metal and hardcore bands do it better these days. Still . . . . Grip Inc. has some great riffs. I wonder if all bands that operate under as a corporation should put "Inc." at the end of their name. Slayer Inc. Morbid Angel Inc. Shadows Fall Inc. Nevermore Inc.

I wanna form a band called Kitchens Inc.

(not funny)

Dude, I can't believe that shit. You didn't dismember the corpse too? I hate people that borrow shit and lose it.

Danzig 4p is quite possibly the greatest album ever recorded.

Looks like we lost the other Grip Inc. thread ...
but I am just chiming in to say that Skin Trade off of Incorporated is how Slayer should sound nowadays ... what a great fucking song.

does anyone know if there is an official Grip Inc. site? I cannot find one for my life

Yeah the new one kicks ass. Skin Trade is one of those songs that makes me want to bludgeon something. Don't know about a website, they're on SPV though now, I can't pull up the site at work, damn Flash.

Took a break from this album for several months, it's kicking my ass like it did the first day. This is just Heavy. Fucking. Metal. at its finest.

Video wouldn't go for me, I think it called me a name too.

I complain the Launch video wouldn't work for me but just noticed the CD itself has Curse (of the Cloth), The Answer, and a making of video on disc. :loco:

The last 10 notes in this song? Best things ever.
