I actually really love Alice in Chains, but I'm totally against them touring again, it seems disrespectful and also nobody can ever do Layne Staley justice.
I saw Alice In Chains open up on the "Clash Of The Titans" tour with Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth back in 1991, right before they hit it big. During the intermission after Alice's set, Layne Staley was walking right out in the audience on the main floor. I thought that was the coolest thing.MetalNoob said:Oh damn really?

Grunge isn't even a real genre. It's a title that was placed on bands that came out of seattle. I don't see enough similarities between Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and Pearl Jam to classify grunge as a genre.
