I guess he is from a board where people used fake accounts to get extra webspace and PMs and whatnot rather than to improve the board's culture, so I understand the desire to limit that. but I obviously think that individual judgment should be applied, too.

This is why it took me so long to register here. Ultimate-metal fails to respect the rights and liberties of fake accounts. Sure, some are destructive community-abusing entities. However a search through tard_roomates history reveals just how much he has enriched this forum. And I say "he" because the account has become its own much-loved entity. Yet all Deron is concerned with is the bottom line. Our happiness doesn't matter to him.
There should be an appeals process for these fake accounts. Hold a trial-poll with a jury comprised of 12 peers from the communities it uses. Execution without representation is indeed covered by the rules and regulations but it's still wrong!!!!
