I just watched him do the "Of Sins and Shadows" solo and....wow. What exactly is going on when it doesn't even look like he's picking, he just kind of moves his right hand over the neck. I'm confused.

I´m quite sure he doesn´t pick the notes. I think he does some cool tapping in that solo . Check the tabs out.
