OK, since this board is so slow that it's approaching comatose levels.... I thought I'd start a couple of interesting threads...

The first is this one: What guitar riffs (leads or rhythms) are SO AMAZING they give you the chills?

Multiple posts encouraged!

The first one to pop to my mind is Adrian Smith's lead for Omega....

I've heard so many...
Alot of the solos in Nevermore songs get me going...alot of Steve Morse gives me the chills.

A song by Carlos Arellano called 'Samba With Dobeedo' it used to be on the Guitarwar.com site, his playing is absolutely brilliant.

Dime's solo on 'Floods', 'The Sleep' and 'Domination' are a couple more...

Ryth gits.
Adrian and Roy:
The Tower
Ghost of Cain
Adrian and Davey:
Die with your boots on
Pete and Andy from King D:
Sleepless nights
Zakk Wylde:
Miricale Man
Tattooed Dancer

Leads
Adrian:
Stranger in a Strange land......One's his best ever I think
anything by Zakk Wylde...he's the solo master!
Roy Z
Arc of Space, that on gets me every time
Viv Campbel:
Holy Diver
Last in line
Criss Oliva:
Hall of the mountain King
Jesus Saves
Edge of Thorns

I have heard this - he goes by Jazzpick on guitarwar right?. Still have it saved on my Harddrive. Incredible Guitar playing....and to think that he is not some guitar God well known by all is just sad....that piece was more brilliant and better played than most 'guitar hero' stuff that I hear

THE guitar riff for me is the intro to Bruce D's Freak.
That just gets my bloody head banging and hands waving! :D

Scorpions:
The Sails of Charon:
The whole intro and solo by Uli Roth.

KK Downings solo on the sinner live.

The riff master for me has always been Tony Iommi, too many Sabbath riffs give me the chills.
