It's rare quality to be able to combine such speed with actual musicality. Impressive.

Just watched the original of the Andy cover and i'd say the kid plays it better then he does. Sweeps are way better and cleaner. Andy has alittle bit more feel though overall. And i didn't like that acoustic video, just sounds like when Yngwie shredds on an acoustic, just pick noise and fret noise haha. Crazy good still!!

Thats a bit harsh :( I reckon he smokes Yngwie on the acoustic ...

I'm a bit reverse on that. I found the Timmons cover just full shred and I dug the acoustic in that I felt it had a lot more melodic content. The dude has chops for days that's for sure.

Haha yeah of course he is awesome. But its just so uninteresting with just shredding, was cool in the 80's when it was fresh, but now it takes more then just pure technique to be a great guitarist you know :)

I could not agree more , straight shred does less than nothing for me either , but that staccato aggressive sound suits that Gypsy style imo ..... also in his band they perform much more musical stuff .

The dude who filmed the acoustic jam is well worth checking out
Rick Graham , he has some crazy tech but is quite soulful . Love the chime in the Suhr too .
