theres all the clips posted so far adjusted so that the whole mixdown is -18dB RMS

If you recognise your own work, please keep it to yourself.
Usernames will be made public in the end. Please place your vote, and post in the thread with your reasoning! When the poll closes in 3 days, I will post up the EQing graphs and CurveEQ files and single guitar files for the tracks. No usernames yet, those will come after the last round.

That this round is up doesn't mean you can stop voting in round 1. Both need votes, both will be up for 3 days.

Alright, have fun:D

Again, I made sure the tracks peak at exactly -13db RMS. There was also some editing involved here on my part; some people added an extra chord after the clip which I removed.

this one was harder BUT one issue called my attention here. If only one "finalist" is selected from each poll then there might be some uneven results. In example I think that E and D from the previous poll are both better than all the entries on this poll, but if only one can pass to the next round...

Great work everyone by the way, I wish I could produce any of these tones :p

Nothing is really set in stone with me, I'm very open to suggestions. Would you be more satisfied if say the best 2 from every round move on? This would mean another thread though.

Well the outcome of the overall winner wouldn't change. The only difference is that E and D are meeting in the 1st round instead of possibly the 2nd.

I'm just an insignificant user, lets hear from the PROs :p

True. if 2nd or 3rd place
do not matter then its true ;-). Anyway... is there a price besides the applause of everyone here? XD

Haha, the non-reamped "I" was definitely jarring  It gets my vote though (and I'm 99% certain I know who it is :D), and whoever did G mastered it way too hot, damn!

And considering how close D and E are from round 1, I certainly wouldn't mind if they both advanced!

Let say if we get like one round that gets a landslide win and gets like 80% of the votes, then I guess that is pretty much a no-brainer, but what if the next round we get 3 that gets ~25% of the votes each, how many are you going to pass?

How 'bout we cross that bridge when/if we get to it? ;)

I think that both I and F was really good, both soound similar, but F is less defined but has much more "compressed" mids which i like, while I has the definition i like, but not the mids.
So i think I has to win for me, it just fits better in the mix.
