In an exclusive interview, guitarist Kiko Loureiro discusses the highs and lows of life on stage, reveals surprises after his stop in Argentina, and shares details about the Theory Of Mind Tour.
In an honest and revealing conversation with Kiss FM, Loureiro shed light on a topic rarely addressed in the entertainment world: post-show depression. The musician, who has just returned from a series of intense performances, highlighted how the contrast between the euphoria of the stage and the silence backstage can be emotionally challenging. “The energy is so high that when it ends, your body and mind feel an enormous void. It’s hard to handle,” he said.
This candid discussion about artists’ mental health represents an important step in breaking taboos in the music world. Many fans imagine only the glamour of the spotlight but forget the emotional toll of a demanding routine and constant pressure. By sharing his experience, Kiko not only humanizes his journey but also gives voice to many other musicians who face the same feelings in silence. His words were met with empathy by listeners and followers, making it a standout moment in the interview.
Speaking straight from Buenos Aires to the Kiss FM studios, Kiko also commented on his recent performance in the Argentine capital — considered by many a historic night. “Check out the video of the Buenos Aires show on my Instagram,” he invited, reinforcing the bond with fans and the emotion of that evening.
