GUNS N' ROSES performed at Harlem's world-famous Apollo Theater last night (Thursday, July 20) for a special invitation-only concert for SiriusXM subscribers. The concert marked the first time that GUNS N' ROSES performed at the iconic venue. The special event, taking place before the next leg of the band's North American "Not In This Lifetime" tour, aired live nationwide on SiriusXM's Guns N' Roses Radio. The concert also aired live on Howard Stern's Howard 101 channel. The band's setlist was as follows: 01. It's So Easy 02. Mr. Brownstone 03. Welcome To The Jungle 04. Chinese Democracy 05. Double Talkin' Jive 06. Better 07. Estranged 08. Live And Let Die 09. Rocket Queen 10. You Could Be Mine 11. Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory / A New Rose 12. This I Love 13. Civil War 14. Paradise City SiriusXM's Guns N' Roses Radio features music from the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees' entire iconic career, including the 1987 "Appetite for Destruction" album, which is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary. The SiriusXM channel also includes music by artists who have influenced GUNS N' ROSES, live tracks and rarities. Former GUNS drummer Steven Adler told the "Trunk Nation" show earlier this year that Fernando Lebeis, who is part of GN'R's management team, had "some good ideas" for the thirtieth-anniversary celebration of "Appetite For Destruction". Adler appeared with GUNS onstage last November in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as well as on three separate occasions during the U.S. leg of the "Not In This Lifetime" tour last summer. It was rumored in September that former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Izzy Stradlin turned down a five-figure fee to play with the band at their April 2016 reunion shows. Stradlin tweeted about the dispute, writing that the group didn't want to "split the loot equally." GUNS N' ROSES' "Not In This Lifetime" tour features three members of the classic GUNS N' ROSES lineup — guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan and singer Axl Rose — backed by drummer Frank Ferrer, guitarist Richard Fortus, and keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese.
