Greek guitar virtuoso Gus G., well known in rock and metal circles for his work as Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist and as leader of his own band FIREWIND, has released the official music video for his new song "Force Majeure". The clip, which can be seen below, features a guest appearance by UFO guitarist Vinnie Moore. Gus, Vinnie and Richie Kotzen are currently touring the U.S. together and are scheduled to perform in Sacramento Friday night (September 21). Gus G.'s latest solo album, "Fearless", was released in April via AFM Records. The follow-up to 2015's "Brand New Revolution" marked Gus's first release since exiting Osbourne's band in 2017. On "Fearless", Gus joined forces with vocalist/bassist Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69, UNISONIC) and drummer Will Hunt (EVANESCENCE). Gus told All That Shreds in a 2016 interview about his switch from ESP to Jackson guitars: "I was with [ESP] for 12 years. Sometimes you've just got to change it up. I've been playing Japanese guitars for a long time, and then I fancy playing American guitars and then trying it out. Jackson was very enthusiastic, and they have a right theme. Their team have good ideas and are not afraid to try them out, so to speak, and I like that attitude." He added: "I've had a terrific run with ESP; I can't complain. They gave me my first signature guitars and stuff, and we did well. Now with Jackson, it feels like the right team to be a part of. Those guys are fans of what I do. They've been bugging me for a few years now. It's, like, 'Hey, man if you ever feel like trying something else out, we're here.' I met up with them, and I went to their factory. They are owned by Fender, so I went to the Fender factory, which is pretty amazing. The whole vibe there was very cool, and everybody was really on it. The guy who builds my guitar is Mike Shannon, who made Randy Rhoads Jackson guitars, and it's very cool."
