haha Tiamat DOES sound like Pink Floyd

i've never really listened to Pink Floyd much before, but since I got Pulse over the weekend, the similarities in some songs are striking. now i know what the dozens of roommates who have poked their heads in my room and said, "Floyd?" were talking about.

I haven't heard Pulse but I don't think you should really count that in your Tiamat-Floyd comparison. They have plenty of stuff from earlier that is nothing like Tiamat. Also Pulse came out after some Tiamat albums so if it sounds similar then you could easily say Pink Floyd sound like Tiamat.
