The whole Peabody / Polk thing I can't be too bothered about. Really the reason O'Reilly has no place in political thought is

a) more than half his arguments are born of straight-up christian moralism, which should have no place in political discussion

b) he can't go five minutes without telling someone to "shut up"

You're probably aware, but the Polk wasn't even won until a year after he left Inside Edition, which gives new precedence to his supposed mere misspeak about the Peabody/Polk.

The worst part about him is that on the immediate surface many of his arguments seem valid, but with just an extra dose of brain power one can easily see he's completely full of shit, too bad most people lack that small extra dose.
