My name is Alexei, I'm 18, been into real metal for 6 years or something like that, I've played guitar for a little less than that. I currently play in December's Silence. Our material is somewhere between Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, and My Dying Bride with all sorts of other influences too. I've also played viola for 9 years, and was in a semi professional orchestra throughout high school.
I get into metal by reading an interview with, heh, Cradle of Filth, right before Cruelty and the Beast was recorded, then I got into Emperor and it was all downhill from there.
