Hey, Im Matt...
A resident metalhead reigning from Auckland, New Zealand. I found this site on a worldwide search of mine to find the home of heavy metal.
After a recent trip to UK/Europe its really opened my eyes to the fact the scene at home is mini-scule in comparisson to how big it is elsewhere. In the longterm my plans for my band are to release our 5-track demo and jet-set it somewhere where it'll be more appreciated (ie, smaller fish-bigger pond). In time I hope we will become as much a part of a bigger local scene than the one we are situated in at present.
Its a big risk... but hey, this is what we want.
For now what I ask of anyone here is direction, if you live in a place where theres a big local scene or know how we can reach anyone in the ways of promoting a smalltime band to a wider audience I'd love to hear from you!! Drop me a line via PM PLZ!!!
