Halcyon Way confirmed for Rocklahoma 2008

Halcyon Way, the Atlanta-based progressive metal band featuring Jon Bodan (ex-Final Judgement) and Zane Matthews (ex-Cauldron Born) on guitars, Sean Shields on vocals, Kris Maltenieks on bass, and Ernie Topran on drums, has been added to the Tri-Label Stage (South) at this year's Rocklahoma festival, set to take place July 9-13, 2008 at the Catch The Fever Festival Grounds, four miles north of Pryor, Oklahoma. Halcyon Way will perform on Sunday, July 13 at 1:55pm.

Halcyon Way recently finished their debut album, “A Manifesto For Domination” and are in negotiations with several labels for its release later in 2008. The band recently released a single, “Blind Eyes To The Sky”. The album was produced by guitarist Jon Bodan, mixed by Lasse Lammert (Alestorm, Incubator) at Lammert Sound Works in Germany, and mastered by James Murphy at The Safehouse in Florida.

Halcyon Way have appeared with many notable acts, such as Helloween, Symphony X, Brand New Sin, Sanctity, Freak Kitchen, Strapping Young Lad, Samael, To/Die/For, Cathedral, Virgin Black, Circle II Circle, Cellador, Echoes Of Eternity and Scum Of The Earth. In addition they have made two appearances at the ProgPower USA Festival Showcase (2004 and 2007).
