You guys in HW really stole the show last night, IMO. I can't wait to hear your new CD! "Citizens Zero" and "I Fought The World Today" are 2 of the best songs I've heard in a long time, and I just love your Queensryche influences, among others! I want to personally thank Sean, Jon, and Zane for taking the time to talk to me and really appreciate me as a fan. Your kind words will never be forgotten. You guys really and truly won me over heart and soul last night. I just wanted y'all to know that you have my undying support and loyalty as a true fan of your band from now on. I'm only sorry that I didn't get with the program sooner. See you guys again soon, hopefully at your CD release party/show on Nov.8 at 3 Bears Cafe. EVERYBODY PLEASE BE THERE! This is a band that truly appreciates and needs your support.
ROCK ON, BROTHERS!:headbang::kickass::worship:

Wow! Thank you very much bro. We appreciate you supporting all our bros in the scene. That was a really difficult show last night, lots of technical issues that the club wouldn't address, so we were really worried that it sucked from the audience standpoint, because it sure did on stage! =) See ya on the 8th man!

I meant every word, my friend!:kickass: The sound wasn't perfect, but you guys sure gave it 110% just the same, and I know we all thank you for it!:worship: See ya on the 8th! PARTY!:headbang:

Yep, I kept seeing Sean point repeatedly at his stage monitor and looking over at the soundboard and indicating "up, up."

If I had a buck for every time I've seen THAT at the Masquerade, I could buy the building outright. :rolleyes:

It was a difficult night to be an opening band, definitely.

I guess I'll 'fess up to clueing HW in about the fact that you were at the show, 7thSaviour, hence the shout-out. :lol:

"For fucks sake, can you turn my monitor up?' paraphrased from Karl Sanders (Nile). He was getting pissed. He asked about 10 times.

I wanted to yell that at the sound guys for Eluveitie last weekend

The only thing you could hear was the guitars. It sucked

Both times I've seen Impaled...that was the case. No vocals in the mix, all guitar. Last time I saw Arsis...same deal. If they spend time on a sound check, make sure the vocals are loud enough to be heard over all the rest of the music.

Thanks, Pellaz.:kickass: It's good to have friends like you.:cool:

Isn't that the truth! I'd be a millionaire if I had a buck for every time I"ve seen a band member indicating "up," "up" at the Masquerade....

Oh, well. It is what it is. With the Roxy out of action for a while longer due to their renovations, there are precious few 1,000-or-so capacity clubs in the ATL metro.
