The official lyric video for HALESTORM's song "Dear Daughter" from the band's third album, "Into The Wild Life", can be seen below. In a recent interview with RockSverige.se, HALESTORM singer Lzzy Hale stated about the track: "This is a subject that… I mean, obviously, [HALESTORM drummer Arejay and I] grew up with a very supportive mother. We decided to start a rock band, and she actually said, 'Yes! Do that! Go for it!' So, for me, this was… We get to speak to a lot of young girls, and a lot of them do have those supportive parents, but a lot of them don't. So I think this was my way — lyrically, at least — just passing that on… As in, like, if I were… if and when I were to have a daughter, I would be passing these words on to her… I don't know… It's a strange song."Added bassist Josh Smith: "It's a strange song, but [with] a great message. It just — we were in this big, overhauled church, you know, so it didn't feel like we were in a studio and there was just every instrument everywhere. There was a piano and everything was all set up so it's like, whatever you wanted to do, you could just do." Hale posted a message online in which she said about the record, "My insider advice, listen to the record front to back, 'cause in a day and age where everyone is freaking out about the state of the music business, we said, fuck it, and made an 'album.'"Hale added, "We erred on the side of performance and making moments, rather than perfection, bridging the gap between what you've heard on previous records and what you see at a live HALESTORM show.""Into The Wild Life" follows up HALESTORM's Grammy-winning 2012 sophomore effort, "The Strange Case Of…"
