During an interview at this past weekend's Welcome To Rockville festival in Jacksonville, Florida, Lzzy Hale confirmed that HALESTORM fans should expect to hear new music from the band in the next few weeks. "It's happening," she told Mike Karolyi of iRockRadio (see video below). "We're gonna unleash something for you, actually, within the next two months or so — probably less than that, actually. And I wish I could give you titles and all of those things, but we've been sworn to secrecy. But we're rolling — so we're done and are rolling. We're excited." HALESTORM's fourth full-length disc was recorded at Dark Horse Recording studios just outside Nashville with Nick Raskulinecz, an acclaimed producer who has previously worked with RUSH, KORN, ALICE IN CHAINS and DEFTONES, in addition to having produced HALESTORM's third covers EP, "ReAniMate 3.0: The CoVeRs eP", which came out in January 2017. HALESTORM guitarist Joe Hottinger told the SiriusXM show "Trunk Nation" that the band's follow-up to 2015's "Into The Wild Life" will contain some of "the heaviest stuff we've ever done." "Into The Wild Life" was criticized by some HALESTORM fans for veering too far into pop music territory. HALESTORM has announced details for a second leg of its North American tour showcasing all female-fronted hard rock outfits. The first leg of the tour — co-headlined by IN THIS MOMENT — kicks off later this month on April 30 at Houston, Texas's White Oak Lawn, with dates through May. The new dates begin July 27 at Kansas City, Missouri's SEC Arena and run through the end of August. NEW YEARS DAY and STITCHED UP HEART join HALESTORM and IN THIS MOMENT on the first leg of the tour and NEW YEARS DAY will return for the second leg of the tour.
