Gibson Custom Shop has announced a new Lzzy Hale Explorer Dark limited-edition signature model. For 2018, Gibson revisits a guitar that's as hard rocking as its namesake. From the iconic rebellious body shape, gold hardware and epic ebony finish to the fast playing neck and 57 Classic pickups, the new Lzzy Hale Explorer Dark certainly packs a punch. Stunning looks coupled with classic Gibson tones result in a rock guitar truly worthy of the world class artist behind its design. In the clip below, HALESTORM's Lzzy Hale goes behind the scenes of her vision for the "evil twin" to her first Gibson signature model. Find out what her iconic inspirations were for this "workhorse of a guitar." HALESTORM is getting into the homestretch with the recording of its new album, and Lzzy told The Pulse Of Radio that the band is looking to add the final touches to the record. HALESTORM's fourth ful-length disc is being recorded at Dark Horse Recording studios just outside Nashville with Nick Raskulinecz, an acclaimed producer who has previously worked with RUSH, KORN, ALICE IN CHAINS and DEFTONES, in addition to having produced HALESTORM's third covers EP, "ReAniMate 3.0: The CoVeRs eP", which came out in January 2017. HALESTORM guitarist Joe Hottinger told the SiriusXM show "Trunk Nation" that the band's follow-up to 2015's "Into The Wild Life" will contain some of "the heaviest stuff we've ever done." "Into The Wild Life" was criticized by some HALESTORM fans for veering too far into pop music territory.
