HALESTORM frontwoman Lzzy Hale was interviewed by Artisan News at this past Monday's (March 17) exclusive VIP listening party for the Ronnie James Dio tribute album "This Is Your Life" and awards gala at the Avalon in Hollywood, California. Check out the chat below.Asked about what HALESTORM has been up to in recent weeks, Hale said: "We've just been in the writing process for our third record. It's kind of exciting, 'cause it's our third record, so it's kind of a launchpad. Like, 'OK, what do we do?' We're mixing it up. We're going with different producers and kind of chasing the old song dragon."Lzzy also spoke about the pressure of following up 2012's "The Strange Case Of
", which spawned three hit singles, including the chart-topping "Love Bites (So Do I)" and "Here's To Us"."For whatever reason, we call it 'rock forward,'" she said. "It's, like, we're always trying to move forward and chasing after whatever gets us excited.
