Rob Zombie actually made a good movie, the kid that plays young Michael is so fucking good, downloaded it but I will see it in the theater Friday night

the first half of the movie is all about young Michael and has some seriously disturbing moments, the second half is the story we know, with some artistic license taken liberally throughout, the only thing that bothers me is that RZ keeps putting his girlfriend in every damn movie he makes, her acting ability is better than usual as Michaels mom , but seriously, she needs some acting lessons....oh and yes there's tons of blood!

halloween was the first horror movie i ever watched. i must say it is a good story but not scary at all. i was laughing everytime somebody got killed... lol ^^

Glad the workprint DVD already came out, cause I don't like sitting in the theater with your typical movie goers for a gore flick. Mostly teen girls on cell phones.

Slasher flicks aren't scary, as a rule. Doesn't mean they're not entertaining of course...in Freddy vs. Jason I fucking loved that first kill, when Jason folded the guy up in the bed.

There's a workprint from a while back that has a different ending, less deaths, some other stuff. Supposedly it wasn't up to par so Zombie reshot a bunch of things. Be sure it's not that one.
I plan on seeing this this weekend!

When i saw the trailer i said to myself
"Made by rob zombie.....its gonna suck"
So ill have to see it for myself...and see Rob Zombies GF agian just like every other movie she is in...

Don't like workprints or bootlegs if they're lacking in quality compared to a retail release, as this one seems to be. So I tend to only pirate retail DVDs.
But yeah, after checking , it seems the workprint that's everywhere now is that same one, different from the theatrical release, not that I know what's different about it exactly, other than it's different, mostly in the ending.
And going to the theaters for a new movie I might enjoy is a wonderful thing to do! <3 movies
