He's playing again in Seattle tonight and I'm finding it very hard to contain my excitement. Hopefully this thread helps. I know Neal loves some Hank III. Who else?! I'd be happy with two hours of the country set and no Assjack, but Assjack definitely doesn't suck either. Hank is the man.

He's awesome! I think I made a thread here when Damn Right, Rebel Proud came out last October. That's real, honest country (with some hellbilly thrown in here and there) and way more along the spirit of guys like Hank Williams or Cash than that phoney pop-country crap that seems to be so big in the US.

I wish he'd come over the pond at some point.. but his stuff has basically no audience over here and is virtually unknown. I even had to get the last record as an US-import...
