Hansi wrote a post not that long ago talking about working on the upcoming 10th studio album from Blind Guardian. He's now followed that up with this:

http://www.blind-guardian.com/2013/10/18/a-sign-of-hope/

He speaks about "completely" finishing "album production for the end of May" 2014.

About the album's theme and lyrical content he says he hasn't decided whether it will be individual topics or a concept album yet. Though has has said it will contain "a strong fantasy link" and "typical Dystopian elements" with songs having "magical grandeur but will present some very harsh disturbing elements as well", and that the music will show an "aggressive side of Blind Guardian".

Hansi goes into depth about the approach towards various named tracks which include 5 fast songs, a 90's orientated speed/thrash song, an epic track which is a "roller coaster ride through the last three decades of metal", an elaborate track with "beautiful orchestration" and a "mid tempo...commercial" track.

Altogether there's 10 tracks mentioned:

Encrypted Time
Holy Grail
Winter's Coming
Outcast
Song 9
Grand Parade
Midtempo Song
The Throne
The Ocean
Prophecies

:headbang: So excited for this! Especially after the masterpiece of At The Edge of Time :kickass:

He said something about a song sounding like Script For My Requiem... THAT is the Guardian I want to hear again... fingers crossed.
