It'd be a fine day if we could just stay in town for once and watch some fireworks from a local park at our leisure. But no, gotta placate my dad's side of the family and meet them three towns over so we can watch fireworks together in a shitty parking lot. Funeral crap for the rest of the weekend, and my husband's moaning and groaning about all of it. Make it my funeral.

I hate holiday traveling. Well I don't mind it on xmas since nobody else is on the road, but otherwise a day like today is fine for me. I'm leaving work in 20 minutes to go home and have a nice bbq with me wife, a few beers, our fish, and probably a horror movie.
