I shall inform him a thread was made. He is currently on a photojournalism assignment at a sports complex.

Thankee sai.

Just got back a half hour or so ago. I nearly got plowed by the offensive line (the whole thing), and it was fucking hot, but it was more interesting than I thought it would be.

Dude that must have been awesome! I've always thought it'd be rad to do photojournalism... especially sports (and nature). Can you describe what it was like? Was it hard? It sounds really interesting and you should post some pics too!

And happy birthday as well! I'm currently listening to Blinded by Fear by At the Gates, but in honor of your birthday I'm re-naming it to Blinded by Beers and changing fear to beer in all the lyrics for today.

The face of all your beers
All your beers, unleashed
The face of all your beers!

AHHHHHH!!!!

It was a lot like being in battle. From the stands everything seems kind of routine, but when you're up close, very large men with the idea of running as fast as they can are coming toward you and throwing things around with air in between you and them. The best way to take a good picture is to keep an eye in the viewfinder if you can, but it distorts depth perception when you have a powerful lens on the camera. They came so fast they went under the lens and I almost didn't realize that they were that close. The person with the ball was evidently trying to squeeze through the gap between the main line and the sidelines, but everyone felt it wise to go after him. He made it a little farther than I am comfortable with.

Intense.

I will post pictures as soon as my professor gives me the DVD they are on. I was using his camera at the time as all I have available (right now) is a little HP "point-n-shoot".
