Israel is in the mediterenen... near Greece... very very close to Greece.
some say even Greece is not *IN* Europe.
But, if you really want to know,
Israel was offered to be in the union, but the US *didn't approve* of Israel joining the Euro union.... the US have many good reasons for that, and Israel have many others to still sleep with America, so therefore: Israel never joined.
Eurovison btw has turned into politics lately... ever noticed that?
